Jason Lewis is a visionary leader and seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for real estate and investment. His journey began at the age of 18 when he purchased his first rental property while studying at Johnson and Wales University. Driven by his early success, Jason went on to acquire several more properties, demonstrating his innate talent for identifying lucrative investment opportunities.
In 2001, Jason’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to acquire Newark Lumber and Hardware, which he transformed into a thriving business with an impressive growth trajectory, reaching over $60 million in revenue by 2014. Not content with his achievements, Jason founded NJ Ogden in 2003, a development company focused on purchasing and renovating properties in inner cities such as Newark, East Orange, and Irvington.
The establishment of Aryming Asset Funding LLC in 2014 marked a significant milestone in Jason’s career. Serving as a private real estate lending company, Aryming Asset Funding fills the critical gap for real estate developers, investors, and rehabbers who struggle to secure financing through traditional channels. Jason’s private lending platform has successfully raised and financed over $200 million in short-term private lending, and his expertise has extended to rehabbing more than 800 distressed real estate properties.
Building upon his successes, Jason founded Aryming Asset Management LC (AAM) in 2020, a boutique real estate opportunity fund. As the Chief Executive Officer, Jason assumes a pivotal role in guiding AAM’s investment strategy, overseeing asset management, and identifying new and promising investment opportunities. His unwavering dedication to the company’s overall success is evident in his continuous pursuit of excellence.
Beyond his impressive accomplishments in real estate and asset management, Jason is also an Early Stage Angel Investor. He allocates his personal capital to support companies such as PaperStac, FundStory, HappyMango, and MercerClub. His commitment to fostering growth extends to his active participation on the advisory boards of PaperStac and MercerClub. Additionally, Jason serves as the founding Mentor and board member of advisors for the E.N.U.F fund, an organization dedicated to empowering black communities through skill training, job creation, property ownership, and supporting black-owned small businesses to enable wealth creation.
Jason earned his bachelor’s degree in Information Science from Johnson & Wales University, where he also became a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. Today, he resides in Montclair, New Jersey, with his loving wife and three children. In his leisure time, Jason enjoys biking, playing basketball, and exploring the vibrant culinary scene.
Jason Lewis’s extensive experience, astute investment strategies, and unwavering commitment to empowering communities make him a sought-after partner and mentor for investors and networks seeking to make impactful contributions to the world of real estate and beyond.
